Lately, I’ve been thinking of buying a smartphone. Not for the reason that it’s a trend or fashion now a days, but for the mere fact that it is now a necessity. Having worked as a technical support agent in a call center industry and despite issues on simply sellular complaints on the net, I found it convenient to have one of these devices. I can simply apply my knowledge and skills using a smartphone. Experimenting on it to expand my horizon in the realm of technology and networking. And most of all, to easily manipulate information to use in my work as fast as I can is just a click away.
I’m not a fan of nokia phones, neither a Samsung android nor a Mac iphone. I’m just interested of getting myself a Sony Xperia. I guess I consider myself practical in a sense that Sony Xperia is a cheap smartphone compared to its’ competition. When it comes to functions, it is already at par at the same time enough to address my needs when it comes to my work. And If I wanted a faster processing phone I would rather have a high end laptop instead.
Here are the specs of the smartphone of my choice:
LED-backlit LCD, capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors 1 GB internal
8gb micro SD included
(up to 32gb) 8 MP, autofocus, LED flash
3G HSDPA
Wifi size 3.7 inches Android OS 2.3 (gingerbread)
Office Suite Pro document viewer/editor 1GHz processor VGA front camera
Hopefully by next month I’ll be able to buy myself a smartphone. Unless otherwise my colleague will convince me to buy another brand, then that’s the only time I would consider. But as of this moment, my heart only belongs to Sony Xperia.
